Renowned singer and performer, Arijit Singh, has taken on the role of music composer for Netflix’s upcoming original film, ‘Pagglait‘.
Singh is known for singing numerous hit songs in Bollywood but this will the first ever project that will solely rely on his musical expertise for its soundtrack.
Speaking about this opportunity, Arijit Singh said:
“I make my debut as a music composer with a project very close to my heart. I am honoured to serve music to the world. The endearing story of Sandhya of self-belief and triumph is much like my musical journey and I feel honoured to be associated with a special film like Pagglait’’
The film stars Sanya Malhotra in the lead and follows her character as she is unable to mourn the death of her husband. It has been written and directed by Umesh Bist, and also features Sayani Gupta, Shrutii Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, Sheeba Chaddha, Meghna Malik, and Rajesh Tailang.
