The acclaimed and intense sports drama has been inspired by NBA player Kevin Durant’s life experiences in the world of youth basketball.

The show is an on and off-court exploration of the world of elite American youth basketball clubs. Season 1 premiered in October 2021 and was an instant hit among viewers.

The series’ creator, showrunner, director and executive producer Reggie Rock Bythewood said, “I’m excited to share more of the beautifully complicated lives of these incredible characters. In season two, they will search and discover what it means to be a champion on and off the court, and the basketball playing will continue to be groundbreaking. We are grateful to Apple TV+ for the platform.”
