Netflix’s upcoming Swedish comedy series, Anxious People (Folk med ångest) follows people taken hostage during an open house by a failed bank robber and their entirely different testimonies linked to the incident after the robber flees. The drama is based on the homonymous book by Fredrick Backman.

Synopsis
A failed bank robbery ends up with eight hostages at an open house. Upon their release the perpetrator vanishes without a trace and all hostages tell different stories to the dysfunctional police officers Jack and Jim, whereupon a classic — but hilarious — puzzle mystery develops.
