Nigerian fantasy film ‘Aníkúlápó’ has risen to the first position in Netflix’s list of top 10 non-English films for October 3-9 with 8.73 million watch hours.
Indian film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which is a remake of the 1994 film ‘Forrest Gump’, managed to get the second spot in its first week of release, accumulating 6.63 million.
‘Old People’ was third (6.48 million), while the fourth and fifth positions were bagged by ‘Plan A Plan B’ (5.13 million) and ‘Togo’ (4.14 million).
The Bottom 5 were ‘Jumping from High Places’ (3.7 million), ‘Athena’ (2.83 million), ‘Brazil 2002 – Behind the Scenes of Brazil’s Fifth FIFA World Cup Victory’ (1.77 million), ‘Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga’ (1.62 million) and ‘Saakini Daakini’ (1.37 million).
