“Taking place during the 1970s, 30 years after the original story setting, the film follows a now grown-up Ralphie, who returns to his former home on Cleveland street after the recent death of his Old Man, hoping to give his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had as a child and reconnect with childhood friends along the way.”
This film is intended to be a legacy sequel to the original 1983 film, ‘A Christmas Story’. It will be the eighth entry into the Parker Family franchise, based on the stories of author Jean Shepherd.
A small montage shows the insides of the old house on Cleveland street as we get a close up on an elderly Ralphie’ face.
