How does Yeo Jeong-Woo’s trial end in Doctor Slump?

After a life of fame and achievements, Yeo Jeong-Woo entered the worst slump of his life when a mishap during surgery ended the patient’s life.

Yeo Jeong-Woo faces trial for something he didn’t do, and yet evidence, like the fingerprints on the vial of anticoagulant belongs to him.

He never ordered any anticoagulants and yet there they are. Soon, he comes to know that there’s a conspiracy afoot, instead of a normal mishap that has brought this fate upon him.

The Truth

Chang Bing’s father, James Chang, passed away after being at the top of the casino industry in Macau for 30 years.

After his death, his daughter inherited his entire fortune. This enraged James Chang’s younger brother, who sought revenge and acted on his impulse.

He committed the murder out of anger.

To do it, he hired people who went to the OR beforehand and planted all the false evidence like Jeong-Woo’s fingerprints on the vial.

They also add anticoagulants to the victim’s IV which caused excessive bleeding and eventual death.

He also bribed a nurse named Park at Yeo’s clinic, who helped them carry out their plan at the OR.

The savior

Kang Jin-Seok, the shady and suspicious anesthesiologist that Jeong-Woo hired, and the one who was present during the surgery gone wrong, turns out to be the savior.

He had already installed a number of spy cameras inside the OR before the surgery. He then procured the footage when the case went to trial.

After failing to hand him the evidence, he finally manages to do so, and Jeong-Woo instantly takes the evidence to the police station and then submits it to the court.

James Chang and his men are all arrested shortly and Yeo Jeong-Woo is acquitted.

He has suffered a lot, though, and not all those who contributed to his suffering have been dealt justice yet, like Min Kyung-Min.

However, his trial has ended, and all the eyes and mouths against him have now turned back their gaze and tone, with Jeong-Woo having little to no care for any of it.
