Tim: Monarch: Legacy of Monsters character explained

In Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Tim is a Monarch employee who is looking for Bill Randa’s files. Joe Tippett plays Tim.

When Cate, Kentaro, and May access the files of Bill Randa that Hiroshi has kept hidden in a safe, Monarch is immediately notified about it. Collins, the employee who sees the alert, immediately informs Tim.

From that point on, Tim gathers a team of his own and begins searching for those files and the people who have found them.

Tim’s value

It turns out that Tim is not much respected at Monarch. He calls himself the troll from the basement that everyone tries to avoid in the breakroom.

Tim’s superior calls Bill Randa’s files sixty-year-old field notes and crackpot theories. Only Tim believes that they have something important. Hence, the moment he learns that someone has gained access to them, he leads an unauthorized rogue operation to get his hands on those files.

Tim’s partner stands by his side

Only Tim’s partner shows some faith in him. She convinces Tim’s superior that Tim might be right, as Lee is making moves after so many years. Tim understands Lee better than anyone, and they need him on board.

A new threat

In Utah, Dr. Barnes of Monarch records weird radiation readings that resemble the ones seen before G-Day. When a meeting is conducted to discuss this, Tim speaks his mind.

Tim tries to convince everyone that they can’t dismiss Bill Randa’s files. Tim believes Lee Shaw knows something that they don’t, and that’s why Lee is after those files too.

At the end of episode 4, Tim finally comes face-to-face with Lee when he rescues his group from the cold in an Alaskan region and a titan.
