In Doctor Climax, Thong Tien, played by Chaiwat Thongsaeng, is Nat’s friend who is suspected of being Doctor Climax.
Tien is a renowned author who currently writes for the Bangkok Express. As Nat is friends with him, Nat shows him the novel he is writing, which Tien finds unexciting.
However, Tien finds the letter that a young girl had written to Nat quite interesting. He then suggests creating an informative column in the newspaper to address people’s questions about sex.
He pitches his idea to Choosak to boost their sales, and Choosak allows him to bring on Nat to write the column. Tien’s idea turns out to be a great success.
Believed to be Doctor Climax
Tien does not fail to notice that Nat is attracted to Linda, and as he is the only one who knows that Nat is married, he does not approve of it.
Tien warns Nat to be careful, as he understands that Nat’s actions will hurt people and ruin lives. He asks him to make a choice between Linda and Tukta.
However, Nat disregards his friend’s advice and suffers the consequences, dragging Tien into his problems as well.
In an attempt to keep Linda and Nat away from each other, Tien takes it upon himself to deliver the letters sent to Doctor Climax to Nat’s clinic.
This leads Captain Pao, who is trying to uncover Doctor Climax’s identity, to suspect that Tien is Doctor Climax. When he informs MP Pornchai of his suspicions, Pornchai sets a trap for Tien.
The problems Tien faces
Tien is an attractive man who instantly draws attention. This attention does not flatter him; instead, it burdens him with heavy expectations, leading to impotence.
While reading a letter to Doctor Climax from a woman named Plern, Tien learns that her late husband suffered from a similar issue.
Tien decides to seek her help, and she takes Tien to a swingers club, where due to being anonymous, Tien’s confidence returns.
Nat finds out about Tien’s escapades and follows him, leading to Tien confiding in him. Nat then warns him about the dangers of frequenting the club.
Pornchai also finds out about Tien’s visits to the club, as he has been following him to find evidence of him being Doctor Climax.
Captain Pao’s men then corner Plern and force her to work with them to trap Tien. Eventually, Tien decides to stop visiting the club, but Plern convinces him to go one last time.
Pol learns of Pornchai and Captain Pao’s plan and goes to the club with Nat and Choosak to rescue Tien. Nat and Tien escape before the police can arrest Tien or gather evidence.
However, Tien eventually surrenders to save Nat from getting arrested. Although Choosak manages to get Tien released, Tien is fired when the news of his involvement with the club comes out.
Nat then decides to help his friend by revealing that he is Doctor Climax and proving that Tien was set up by Pornchai and Captain Pao.
He uses Plern’s testimony and images taken by a detective his mother had hired to prove that Pornchai and Captain Pao hired decoys to entrap Tien. Nat succeeds in clearing Tien’s name.
