The Vees: Hazbin Hotel characters explained

The Vees are influential overlords exerting significant control in Hell. They do not get along well with the other overlords.

The Vees are three powerful overlords, each with a specialty of their own that they use to control the demons of Hell.

Velvette is Lilli Cooper, Vox is voiced by Christian Borle, and Valentino is voiced by Joel Perez.

Sir Pentious attacks Alastor at the hotel to grab the attention of the Vees, but Alastor wipes the floor with him handily.

Velvette

Velvette is keen on war with Heaven

Velvette appears to be in charge of a fashion show when she complains to Vox that Valentino massacred one of her girls.

She is the only one to show up to the overlord’s meeting and immediately squares up to Carmilla about going to war with the angels.

Suggesting that Carmilla had something to do with the dead angel and insulting Zestial strikes a nerve and she is asked to leave for sparking things up.

Vox hates Alastor with a passion

Vox is a demon who controls the masses in Hell through the medium of television. He has a long-standing rivalry with Alastor and is enraged to find out that the Radio Demon has returned.

He faced Alastor many years ago and was defeated which intensified his grudge. He tries to take the fight to Alastor once more and fails.

He then recruits Sir Pentious as a pawn to spy on the hotel but Pentious is exposed, Vox cuts ties without any hesitation.

Valentino

Valentino appears to control the more scandalous vices in Hell and he also owns Angel Dust’s soul.

Valentino is furious to find out that Angel Dust moved out of their tower and into the hotel, and he is not afraid to act on his anger.

When Charlie tries to get Angel out of work early, Valentino doesn’t take it well and punishes Angel for it.

Angel does stand up to Valentino at a club later, claiming that Valentino only owns his soul when he’s at work but he has no authority over him outside.
