The Chosen One ending explained in detail:

Who is Jodie’s father?

Jodie was always led to believe that his father was a really bad person before his death when he was just a child. However, as he enters the preteen, and mysterious facets of his existence surface, Jodie needs answers.

Jodie’s mother, Sarah reveals to him that he has no father. She was hired by a mysterious set of people to be a surrogate mother. When she asked them when the insemination would take place, she was simply told to not care about that as there would be no need.

She was perplexed at first, but one day a frightening being who resembled an eery version of an angel, appeared in her dreams and announced the gift she would receive. She soon finds out that she’s pregnant, having never had sex.

At the end of The Chosen One, it’s revealed that he does have a father. While in reality, there seems to be no biological parent of Jodie other than Sarah, when all realms are taken into consideration, Jodie’s father enters the picture, and he’s none other than Lucifer or Satan.

Does Tuka die?

Jodie, the chosen one, cures his bully Ángelo’s father, and brings him back from the brink of death. However, it’s soon apparent that the version of Ángelo’s father that came back didn’t return to his own volition.

He later kills himself, which enrages Ángelo again, and he seeks revenge on Jodie. He waves a gun at him, upset at him for his father’s death. Jodie is too arrogant and ignorant by this time.

As Jodie approaches Ángelo with confidence, the kid ends up shooting, and the bullet penetrates Tuka, who dies on the spot. Everyone mourns him but Jodie is overridden with his guilt and hopes to see his friend again.

Jodie performs the last miracles at Santa Rosalia town. He saves Ángelo from his devoted followers who want to punish the kid and end up nearly hanging him to death.

At the same time, Jodie is also present at Tuka’s funeral where he revives him just as everyone else falls unconscious. The next day, they all wake up and the miracle ends up uniting them all in a celebratory bliss, as The Chosen One season 1 concludes.

Who is Jodie?

Born to a virgin mother and having the ability to turn water into wine, cure the blind, and bring people back from death paint him as the second coming of Christ.

The people of the town and his best friends all start to believe that he just might be Jesus who’s returned, and so many begin to follow him for the god they think he is.

However, throughout The Chosen One, little signs and hints point to the fact that he’s not Jesus Christ but quite the contrary.

He’s Antichrist, the son of Satan, and by the time The Chosen One rolls the credits, a 20 year older Jodie has become the president of the United States and plans to start a World War by striking the holy place.
