Supersonic’s death in The Boys explained: Why did Homelander kill him?

Supersonic was one of the most recent additions to The Seven and also had a history with Starlight in their younger days. Unfortunately, he met an untimely end at the hands of Homelander.

The former child hero looked like a promising ally to Starlight and the good guys but all the optimism was brought to a pretty gruesome end by the top supe. Let’s take a look at what led to the death of Supersonic.

Joining the cause

Supersonic went by the name ‘Drummer Boy’ as a youngster and was even part of an all-Supe boy band called Super-Sweet. It was during those days that he had a relationship with Starlight, which even made Hughie jealous for a moment.
