Seonu Jae is a powerful man, not just because he is Korea’s prime minister, but also because his father is the owner of DORSON and his grandfather is a former president.
Seonu Jae, a cunning man, is aware that his grandfather suspects Yun Ja-yu of organizing the terrorist attack that left him disabled.
He also knows that the one behind the attack was not Ja-yu but his father, Chairman Seonu. However, he never reveals the truth to his grandfather.
Instead, he allows his grandfather to fruitlessly try to expose an innocent woman, as he has an ulterior motive.
Seonu Jae’s aim
Seonu Jae wishes to become the chairman of DORSON, but he cannot do that as long as his father is alive.
Seonu Jae’s father seeks immortality, which is why he wants to acquire BF’s cultured organs. However, if his father lives forever, Seonu Jae will never be able to take his place.
Seonu Jae stands by, allowing his father to attack Ja-yu and BF, all while pretending to help and maintain a friendly relationship with Ja-yu.
When Ja-yu miraculously saves Chae-woon, the man whom Seonu Jae’s grandfather sent to spy on Ja-yu, Seonu Jae discovers that Ja-yu has successfully cultivated human organs.
While Ja-yu wants the organs to be accessible to everyone, Seonu Jae only wants them to be made available to the wealthy.
As a result, Ja-yu refuses to share her research with Seonu Jae, leading him to threaten her with a search and seizure of BF to obtain her research and technology.
Seonu Jae achieves his aim
Before Seonu Jae can take action, Ja-yu reveals to the public that she has successfully cultivated human organs and asks for volunteers to be test subjects.
Seonu Jae also does not sit idly by. He announces that the government will be taking action against Ja-yu for conducting illegal medical experiments.
When the time is right to expose his father, Seonu Jae allows his mother to reveal to Chae-woon that Chairman Seonu was behind the terrorist attack, effectively bringing Chae-woon’s investigation to an end.
He also employs a group of hackers to breach BF’s system and sends armed men to steal the cultured organs from BF.
He sends the armed attack to BF on the same day as the search and seizure is carried out, overwhelming Ja-yu’s team.
After the attack on BF, Seonu Jae denies all accusations against his father to seem like a good son until BF provides evidence against him, which secretly pleases Seonu Jae.
He does not hesitate to feign ignorance about his father’s actions, shifting blame onto him and launching an investigation against him.
With his father out of the way, Seonu Jae becomes DORSON’s chairman. He also gets BF items that were confiscated during the search.
Additionally, he resigns from his post to take responsibility for defending his father, which earns him public support.
Seonu Jae achieves his goal by using both his father and his grandfather, who eventually discovers that Seonu Jae knew the truth about the terrorist attack.
