Pornchai is a conservative MP who takes it upon himself to uncover Doctor Climax’s identity. In Doctor Climax, Nimit Luksameepong plays Pornchai.
Pornchai, a recipient of an honorary doctorate, is the president of the Thai Society Protection Association. He believes that it is his duty to protect society.
He attempts to ban anything he perceives as corrupting people, including Nat’s column in the Bangkok Express.
Teaming up with Captain Pao
Although Nat’s column is informative and helps many people, Pornchai considers it obscene and a societal disease that needs to be eradicated.
He publicly denounces Doctor Climax, whom he accuses of destabilizing society by promoting indiscipline. He calls him a coward in the press and vows to reveal his true identity.
Pornchai storms into the newspaper office to look for Doctor Climax, but as he is not a police officer, he is escorted out.
Pornchai realizes that he needs help and pressures the Director General to intervene. On his first day, Pornchai confronts him publicly, demanding action against Doctor Climax.
The Director General, under pressure, assigns Captain Pao, a feared officer, to assist Pornchai. Despite Captain Pao’s best efforts, Doctor Climax’s identity remains a secret.
When another criminal investigation comes up, Captain Pao temporarily sidelines Pornchai’s case, but he informs Pornchai of his suspicion that Tien could be Doctor Climax.
Meanwhile, Pornchai’s accusations against Doctor Climax start impacting Nat and the newspaper. Nat is asked not to respond to controversial questions temporarily.
Under pressure to prove that the column is benefiting society, Nat gives a conservative response to a young girl’s query about abortion, which later haunts him.
Targeting Tien
Pornchai starts tailing Tien and finds out that he has been visiting a swingers club. Pornchai vows to humiliate Tien and make him leave the country.
Pornchai has a plan to trap Tien, which he is able to execute with the help of Captain Pao once he returns to assist Pornchai.
Pornchai and Captain Pao force Plern to work with them and lure Tien to the club, where they intend to arrest him.
While they manage to arrest him, they fail to get him to confess to being Doctor Climax. On top of that, they have no evidence against Tien.
Pornchai and Captain Pao have no choice but to let Tien go when Tien’s lawyer points out that Pornchai’s presence there makes it an unlawful interrogation.
The arrest still damages Tien’s reputation, and Tien gets fired. Pornchai then attends a press conference where Doctor Climax is set to reveal his identity.
Nat comes forward as Doctor Climax. He also ensures that Tien’s name is cleared and that Pornchai and Captain Pao cannot do further damage.
Pornchai and Captain Pao are accused of setting Tien up. The pictures of Pornchai following Tien are published on the front page of Bangkok Express.
Plern testifies against them, resulting in their public arrest for employing decoys to entrap Tien. Eventually, it is Pornchai who is punished.
