Duvall: Monarch: Legacy of Monsters character explained

In Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Michelle Duvall is a Monarch operative who works alongside Tim. Elisa Lasowski plays Duvall.

When Cate, Kentaro, and May access Bill Randa’s files and Monarch is alerted, Tim goes to hunt them down and retrieve those files.

Joining him on this adventure is Duvall, who comes on board unaware that this is an unauthorized operation that Tim is carrying out.

Duvall’s nature

Duvall is a trusted and reliable member of Monarch. Deputy Director Verdugo listens to Duvall’s opinions and lets her have it her way from time to time.

Duvall is also an intimidating figure who knows how to get her job done. She manages to have May work for her by using her sister against her.

Duvall tends to think from both sides rather than just believing what she has been told by her organization or her superior.

Duvall and Tim observe Lee’s interrogation

In the sixth episode of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Duvall betrays Monarch and decides to break Lee out of captivity.

The way Monarch is approaching the situation isn’t taking them anywhere. Hence, she interrogates Lee by herself.

Duvall learns from Lee that Monarch is just ignoring everything they have been warned about. If anyone disagrees with Monarch, they just label them crazy.

Duvall’s connection to Sandra Brody

Upon being asked what’s in there for her, Duvall reveals that she is Sandra Brody’s sister. Sandra Brody is U.S. Navy EOD LT Ford Brody’s mother.

Sandra Brody worked at the Janjira Nuclear Power Plant in Japan. As shown in Godzilla (2014), in 1999, the power plant experienced a breach that resulted in Sandra’s death.

Back in 2015, Duvall and Lee join hands. Together, they track down Cate, Kentaro, and May. Duvall will no longer be taking orders from Monarch.

She will be a great help to Lee, Cate, Kentaro, and May, as she provides them insights on the readings that Monarch has received, and these readings are closer to the ones from G-Day.
