While the majority of the Guardians are out in space, Rex Splode, Shrinking Rae, and Dupli-Kate take on the Lizard League on Earth in a fatal battle.
With the oncoming threat of the Sequids in the Martian ship, Invincible, Atom Eve, and the Guardians with impenetrable skin and relevant expertise head out to take them on.
Rex Splode, Dupli-Kate, and Shrinking Rae stay behind on Earth to make sure any terrestrial threats are handled.
Rex tempts fate by claiming that nothing will happen, and that’s when Cecil contacts them to say that the Lizard League has taken over a military base.
They are holding the nuclear missiles hostage and threatening to level cities unless their demands are met.
Pure survival instinct
Rae helps the others sneak in and the trio takes on the Lizard League in battle. King Lizard hides while the others duke it out.
They are all caught in the action when Komodo Dragon brutally murders Kate before she can make a copy of herself.
Rae turns small and jumps into Salamander’s eye socket to kill him, while Rex takes on Iguana.
Rae tries the same thing with Komodo Dragon, but he grabs her and stuffs her down his throat.
She tries to turn big again, but he withstands it and continues fighting. Rex is the only one left and he kills Iguana before facing Komodo Dragon.
He grabs an explosive when Dragon chomps his hand, and the explosive blows Dragon’s head off.
King Lizard picks that moment to emerge and point a gun straight at Rex’s head. Rex is exhausted at this point and tells King Lizard to go ahead with it, but the gunman waits.
