The former Inquisitor failed in her attempts to vanquish Darth Vader but episode 6 sees her get a new target in her sights. The episode is now streaming on Disney+.
Reva was left for dead by Darth Vader and the Grand Inquisitor but she managed to survive while also getting her hands on Obi-Wan’s communicator that contained the message about Luke and Owen. She decided that if she can’t finish Vader, she can take revenge another way.
The hunt for Luke
Reva makes it to Tattooine despite being gravely hurt and she asks around about Owen. One of the villagers informs Owen that Reva is looking for him so he rushes home with Luke.
He tells his wife, Beru, that they need to make a run for it. Beru has other ideas however, she wants to stay and fight. She grabs some weapons from their hiding place and tells Owen that they need to be ready for her.
Reva arrives in the cover of darkness but the occupants of the house have been waiting for her and fire away when they get their chance. Reva is too skilled for them and fends them off until she finally makes her way to Luke.
Luke takes an escape route out of their house and runs straight towards the nearby mountains but Reva pursues him there.
Honouring their memory
Reva catches up to Luke and comes close to striking him down and getting her revenge but cannot go through with it. Obi-Wan arrived on Tattooine because he sensed that Luke was in danger.
As Owen, Beru and Obi-Wan anxiously search for Luke, Reva walks up to them with Luke in her arms. Owen and the others are grateful to see that Luke is still alive.
Owen and Beru take Luke inside while Obi-Wan stays behind with Reva. Reva feels that she failed the other younglings who perished but Obi-Wan tells her that by choosing not to follow the dark path, she has honoured their memory.
She worries that she has become like Vader because of her hatred, but Obi-Wan assures her that she has specifically chosen not to, freeing herself from that burden that she has carried along all this while.
