Plot Summary
Disco Inferno begins in 1955, introducing a haunting figure, Sister Lynn, inside a confession booth.

Furthermore, she is consumed with rage against God for her childless fate. In a chilling scene, she takes her own life in the church. When a priest discovers the scene, he finds her lifeless body hanging, with the baby left behind.
The narrative then shifts to 1973, where we meet a couple, Brandon and Mel, practicing for the final round of a dance competition. It’s unveiled that the very church where Sister Lynn met her tragic end has been transformed into a disco named “Inferno,” which is set to launch that evening.
During their final rehearsal, Brandon stumbles, leading them to pause for a break. As Mel tries to bolster Brandon’s spirit, she suddenly encounters the spectral apparition of Sister Lynn. Disturbed, she heads outside for fresh air, but she ends up vomiting in the restroom.

What is Mel’s history?
In a conversation with her friend, Memo, we discover Mel’s secret: she’s pregnant. The atmosphere grows tense when the bathroom lights start to flicker, and Mel slips into a trance where she finds herself in a desolate church.
She is lured into the basement of the disco by the eerie voice of Sister Lynn. Here, the bone-chilling truth is unveiled — Mel is the very child that Sister Lynn abducted years ago.
Now, the vengeful spirit of the nun yearns for Mel’s unborn child.
Does Brandon save Mel?
Just as she’s about to fall prey to the ghostly nun, Brandon, sensing something is amiss, tries to look for his girlfriend.
He calls out to her and finally hears her screaming as the nun seemingly tries to kill the baby in her belly. Frantically following her voice, Brandon finds her near the confession booth, breaks down the door, and reassures a terrified Mel. The ghost is nowhere to be seen.
In a heartfelt moment, she divulges her pregnancy, and a relieved Brandon embraces her. However, in a shocking climax, it’s revealed that Mel has been possessed.
The movie concludes with a disturbing scene of Brandon, unaware of her possession, carrying Mel back to the dance floor above.
