Clarisse: Percy Jackson and the Olympians character explained

Clarisse is a daughter of Ares and a bully in Camp Half-Blood. Dior Goodjohn portrays the character.

While walking through the camp, Percy experiences a confrontation when Clarisse shoves him and mockingly references his supposed defeat of the minotaur.

Luke steps in to explain that Clarisse is one of Ares’ children, the God of War, known for their penchant for seeking conflict.

The tension escalates later that evening when Percy, caught off guard in the washroom, is ambushed by Clarisse and two others.

They menacingly threaten to dunk his head in a toilet unless he confesses that he didn’t kill the minotaur.

In a turn of events, as Percy is pressured to admit his lack of involvement in the minotaur’s defeat, he inadvertently unleashes his powers.

This sudden burst of ability repels his assailants and leaves Clarisse drenched, marking an unexpected display of strength from Percy.

Beaten in battle

During a game of ‘Capture the Flag,’ Annabeth leaves Percy to fend for himself.

As he is minding his business, Clarisse makes another appearance, accompanied by her allies.

They launch an attack on Percy, pushing him towards the shore and trapping him.

In the heat of the battle, Clarisse wields a golden spear with remarkable proficiency.

Despite this, Percy unexpectedly demonstrates a natural aptitude for combat, managing to hold his own against all three attackers simultaneously.

The skirmish intensifies, culminating in Percy breaking Clarisse’s spear, much to her dismay.
