Cameron: Berlin character explained

Cameron is the newest member of the crew who joins them for the Paris job. The character is played by Begoña Vargas.

Berlin describes Cameron as an adrenaline junkie with a tragic past who is currently training as a thief.

Immediately, Roi observes a tattoo on Cameron’s inner thigh that reads “DON’T look at me.”

While Roi strives to maintain a professional relationship, Cameron finds amusement in frequently teasing him.

Assigned by Berlin to retrieve a goblet from a priest, Roi finds Cameron eager to join the mission, citing her expertise with fast vehicles.

Although they fail to accomplish the mission, the experience brings them closer due to the intense pressure they endure together.

Cameron uniquely picks up on a shift in Damian’s demeanor after a phone conversation with his wife.

Sensing his distress, she offers a listening ear, prompting Damian to confide in her.

In a crucial moment, Cameron helps Damian regain focus from his obsessive investigation into his wife’s activities.

She informs him that their timeline for the jewel heist has been moved up, snapping him back to the task at hand.

Additionally, Cameron proves to be a supportive confidante to Keila, lending a sympathetic ear as Keila expresses her feelings for Bruce.

A heartbreaking tale

After the heist, Cameron is engulfed in emotions and attempts to reach out to her ex, only to be met with no response.

Seeking distraction, she persuades Roi to share more about himself, celebrating their recent success together.

Roi introduces her to an underground racing ring where men drive cars with women riding atop.

Cameron initially revels in the thrill, but her enjoyment is cut short when a call from her ex triggers a panic attack, prompting Roi to withdraw from the race.

A phone call triggers her past trauma and Roi has to help her recover

Opening up to Roi, Cameron recounts her tumultuous past relationship with the lead singer of a popular band, which led her to a psychiatric facility.

She reminisces about the highs of their euphoric relationship, touring with the band, and being immortalized in a song.

However, her obsession with him grew toxic, with periods of separation fueling resentment and leading to confrontational encounters.

Their relationship’s demise took a heavy toll on Cameron.

In a fit of anger, she endangered a child by throwing her TV out a window upon seeing her ex on the screen.

In a destructive spiral, she incinerated all his belongings, inadvertently setting her apartment ablaze.

This episode resulted in a diagnosis of depression and other mental health disorders.

Roi supports Cameron in regaining her composure and lifts her spirits.

Despite their growing connection, Cameron hesitates to enter a new relationship, wary of her troubled past.

However, after safely leaving France and deepening her understanding of Roi, they acknowledge the undeniable attraction between them.

Ultimately, they conclude that it would be foolish not to explore their evident chemistry.
