Plot summary
Bongekile Ngubeni has three sons, Menzi, Sandile, and Skhumbuzo, also known as Sky, but none of them are married. Her rival from their church, Bridgette, is always competing with her.
When Bridgette brags about her grandchild and her daughter, Lemogang, marrying a doctor, Bongekile gets jealous and claims that Sandile is popping the big question to his girlfriend, Sentebaleng, also known as Sente.
However, before Sandile can do any of that, Sente finds a bra in his car and wonders who he has been with. Sandile always acts flirtatiously with other girls, and Sente can’t keep up with him anymore.
While Sandile doesn’t propose to her, Sente breaks up with him in front of everyone. Bongekile struggles to process this. She passes out due to high blood pressure.
Bongekile talks to her dead husband’s picture and concludes that she will sell the house if none of her sons get married by the end of the year.
Bongekile likes to think that this house is for families and that they should fill it with one. Menzi, Sandile, and Sky are struggling in their lives, and they all need the house.
Bongekile will gift the house to anyone who gets married first. Hence, the race begins.
Sandile attempts to reconcile with Sente. Sandile is under pressure because Bra Zakes, the loan shark to whom Sandile owes, is sending his man Lunga to pick up things from Sandile’s penthouse one by one.
Sandile is a music producer, and he needs to come up with a great song or at least save the house for himself. Lunga is a fan of Sandile. He goes easy on Sandile, but Sandile is slowly losing everything he has.
After a bunch of failed attempts, Sandile realizes what he truly feels for Sente when she is there for him while he is hanging for his life in a hot air balloon.
He admits that she has always saved him and has been there for him. Sandile then and there proposes to her. However, before she can say yes, Sente wants Sandile to be honest about the bra.
Sandile finally admits that he was with a singer, but it was nothing. Sandile convinces Sente to believe in him again, and she says yes.
Unfortunately, Sente breaks up with him again the moment she learns that Sandile is marrying her for the house. This time, she asks him not to call her if she ever meant anything to him.
Menzi, on the other hand, is aided by his new chef, Dina, who helps him find the perfect wife. Menzi is someone who knows what he wants. He is a control freak who likes to schedule everything and get things done on time.
Menzi ends up finding someone just like him in the form of Penny. However, there seems to be a bond that has developed between him and Dina, who is the total opposite of what Menzi wants in a girl.
Lastly, Sky has a secret girlfriend that nobody knows about. Everyone doubts that he is gay and is struggling to come out.
To win the house, Sky goes as far as to have his clothing model, Lynx, come to his house, pretending to be his fiancée. Sentile sabotages this meeting by bringing Lynx’s girlfriend home.

Sky’s secret girlfriend
During Christmas celebrations at the church, everyone hears the moaning sounds of Sky and Lemogang on the microphone.
It turns out that Sky isn’t gay. He is secretly dating Lemogang because their mothers are rivals.
Lemogang and Sky stand up for themselves. Sky isn’t going to lose her just because their families disapprove of their relationship.
This time, it’s Bridgette who struggles to process this news. Bongekile is more happy about seeing Bridgette’s face.
Menzi is the one getting married. However, Bongekile is happy to see that her sons are getting along.
Sentile finds love too
Following Sente’s exit from his life, Sandile focuses on his music and finally produces a hit with the help of his singer, Kelz. Lunga helps the song gain popularity.
Sandile and Kelz will be going on a tour for a year. Sandile has second thoughts about leaving his family behind.
Sandile eventually decides that he should pursue his dreams. While he is at the airport, Lemogang, who is friends with Sente, shares her and Sky’s story with Sente.
Sente learns that it was Lemogang’s bra in Sandile’s car. Sky and Lemogang made out in Sandile’s car once.
Sente realizes that Sandile was not lying in the first place. She drives to the airport. The two reconcile, and instead of going away, Sandile decides to join the church’s New Year’s party with Sente to be with his family.
Menzi and Dina’s fate
Dina decides to bid Menzi goodbye at the New Year’s party because she has fallen in love with him.
Menzi has learned to embrace the chaos around him. When he realizes that Penny will never have the guts to try something new, Menzi concludes that he needs Dina in his life, not Penny.
Menzi ends things with Penny and sings for Dina to stop her. Dina finally accepts him, and the two start dating.
The status of the house
Bongekile and her sons discuss who deserves the house. Everyone agrees with Menzi’s suggestion—their mother should keep the house. This way, it will be theirs.
Bongekile’s sons start the New Year with their better halves. Them aside, Penny approaches Dr. Khumalo, the doctor who was going to marry Lemogang, and Sandile’s music partner, Kelz, ties the knot with Lunga in Dubai.
