‘To All The Boys’ Netflix spin-off ‘XO, Kitty’ begins production, adds cast

The ‘To All The Boys’ franchise spin-off film, titled ‘XO, Kitty’, has now begun production and also added new cast members.

It revolves around Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart), the younger sister of Lara Jean (Lana Condor), who was the central protagonist of the parent franchise.

The official synopsis reads: “Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.”

The spin-off was announced last year, with the confirmation that Cathcart was set to reprise her role as Kitty.

The production phase is being carried out in Seoul, South Korea, with a host of new faces: Choi Min-yeong, Anthony Keyvan, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Peter Thurnwald, Regan Aliyah, Yunjin Kim, Michael K. Lee and Jocelyn Shelfo.
