Netflix announces ‘To All The Boys’ spinoff series

XO, Kitty’, a spin-off series inspired by the hit ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ movie franchise and New York Times bestselling book, has been announced by Netflix.

The series is set to star Anna Cathcart, who was seen playing the role of Kitty Song Covey, younger sister of Lara Jean in ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ movies.

XO, Kitty will have 10, 30-minutes episodes, following the story of Kitty, a teen matchmaker, who believes she knows everything about love. However, when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she realizes that relationships are a lot more complicated when your heart is at stake.

The series is created and produced by Jenny Han, along with producers Sascha Rothchild, Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment, and Awesomeness Studios. The pilot has been co-written by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian.

The first installment of Netflix’s three-part film adaption franchise “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” premiered in July 2018. It was followed by the sequel “To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You,” which was released in February 2020, and the third and final film, “To All the Boys: Always and Forever,” which was released in February 2021.
