Jim Sarbh, Ishwak Singh to lead SonyLIV’s ‘Rocket Boys’

SonyLIV has revealed the first look of upcoming web series ‘Rocket Boys’ confirming that it will be led by Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh. The original drama will rediscover the inspiring personalities and exemplary lives of Homi J Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai, two Indian nuclear physicists par excellence.

‘Rocket Boys’ will walk us through the lives of Bhabha and Sarabhai who both played pivotal roles in India’s nuclear power and space research efforts respectively.

The dramatic narration of their remarkable journey will showcase them as great visionaries who dared to dream and explore new paths towards scientific discoveries that catapulted them and our country to world fame.

The show strives to traverse into their times to unveil how the genius duo collaborated on their accomplishments and registered their names in the annals of history.

‘Rocket Boys’ not only attempts to emphasize the relevance of their achievements, but also, of their excellence and legacy that live on.

Sarbh, who plays Bhabha, stated that the role was special for him because of the shared Parsi heritage and expressed hope that the story of icons of Indian scientific history would continue to inspire generations of scientists and innovators.

Singh, a sworn space enthusiast who plays Sarabhai, is delighted at the opportunity that would help others like him to know more about his accomplishments.

‘Rocket Boys’, helmed by Abhay Pannu and created by Nikkhil Advani, Roy Kapur Films, and Emmay Entertainment, has Siddharth Roy Kapur, Monisha Advani, and Madhu Bhojwani, Advani as its producers.

The release date for ‘Rocket Boys’ has not been announced yet.
