With Divyenndu Sharma and Anshul Chauhan set to play the lead roles, Zeishan Quadri is the next to be roped in for AltBalaji and ZEE5’s, Bichhoo Ka Khel, an upcoming crime thriller web series.
The versatile actor who’s famed for his role as “Definite” on Gangs of Wasseypur, will be joining the cast as inspector Nikunj Tiwari, an industrious police officer, known and respected for his devotion to the service.
Speaking of his character enthusiastically, Quadri has said:
“I am really excited about the series as it’s a crime thriller. I play a very impactful role of Inspector Nikunj Tiwari, who has a lot of layers added to it, making it a very interesting watch. I hope people enjoy the series and shower much love on it.”
Bichhoo Ka Khel follows the story of a pulp writer who loses his father to a cover-up and decides to take action by masterfully outmaneuvering the authorities to exact revenge. The web series promises a thrilling ride with sufficient twists and turns to keep the audience engaged.
Alongside Quadri, Sharma (Mirzapur) will be playing the role of the young writer, Akhil; Chauhan (Zero, Shubh Mangal Savdhan) will be joining them as Rashmi Chaubey, a young lawyer with a radical and progressive mindset. Regarding the upcoming role Sharma has said:
“I am playing a character of writer who is a huge fan of pulp fiction. For this, I am reading a lot of books of writers of pulp fiction who are very fine in writing. For me to portray this character will be a surely most grateful thing.”
“It was the decision of the production house that had faith in me and has given a chance for this role. This character is far distanced from the earlier role played by me. The makers want to surprise people.
I have long-lasting plan to work with the production house. For a long time, I was looking for such a role and finally got chance to pull off such character as the production house was fully convinced with me that I am enabled to play this role” the actor added.
