Netflix has released the trailer for ‘Violet Evergarden: The Movie’. The anime film brings the Kyoto Animations’ series to a close.
‘Violet Evergreen: The Movie’ is set to release on Netflix on October 13, 2021. However, it will be available only in selected regions.
The description for the tear-jerker reads as follows:
“After the aftermath of a war, a young girl who was used as a tool for war learns to properly live. With the scars of burns, she goes back to her past to discover her true feelings towards the Major.”
‘Violet Evergarden’ started as a light novel series by Kana Akatsuki and was illustrated by Akiko Takase. After winning the grand prize in the categories of novel, scenario and manga, Kyoto Animations adapted it into a 13 episode-series.
The trailer opens with Violet introducing herself and gives glimpses of how heartbroken she is, after all these years, over the Major.
