The Stranger is a crime-thriller film about two men who meet in an aeroplane and initiate a conversation that leads to friendship. This is a dream come true for Henry Teague, who has been worn down by a lifetime of physical labour and criminality.

 The Stranger is set to premiere on 19 October on Netflix.

Synopsis

Other details

On May 18, 2022, the film had its global premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.  It will theatrically release in Australia on October 6, 2022, followed by a worldwide Netflix release on October 19, 2022. The film is based on actual events.

An undercover cop is given the task to form a friendship with a person suspected of a lot of missing person cases. Because of the lack of evidence, he never became a person of interest but now things take a turn.
