Punjabi romantic drama, Sufna, has been released on Amazon Prime Video for fans of sentimental fiction.
Sufna revolves around the life of a carefree young man, Jeet, who has no ambitions or dreams. However, when he meets Teg, an orphan from another village, his life changes forever; he changes as a man.
The film is not a typical romantic story based on the boy-meets-girl plot. It is a story of personal development of the lead after he meets the girl of his dreams.
Their love faces several challenges and to overcome these challenges, Jeet needs to grow as a person. Before committing to Teg, he must find himself.
Sufna stars Ammy Virk and Tania Sharma in the lead roles. It is written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, who is well known for his involvement in successful projects like Qismat.
The film was released in theatres on Valentine’s Day this year and got a positive response from the audience.
