Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Snowpiercer’ season 2. The dystopian thriller will release on January 26.
The show is set in a world where the entire surviving population of earth is aboard a locomotive, owing to inhabitable conditions outside. Suffering from a severely discriminatory cast system, the under privileged people revolt to take control of the train to provide equal opportunity to all.
Season 2 will follow up after the revolution and see the train’s owner, Mr. Wilford, come into the picture.
The official description reads:
“With Big Alice anchored to Snowpiercer’s tail, Mr. Wilford sets out to take his train back. But Mel and Layton fight and scheme to keep him at bay.”
Snowpiercer’s second outing will feature Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, and Sean Bean, among others.
