Netflix has announced that its upcoming rom-com ‘Irish Wish’ will feature Lindsay Lohan as the protagonist. The film is part of Lohan’s two-picture creative partnership with Netflix.
Directed by Janeen Damian, ‘Irish Wish’ follows Maddie, a woman who decides to put her feelings in a box when the man of her dreams gets engaged to her best friend.
She agrees to be a bridesmaid at the wedding in Ireland but a surprise awaits. A few days before the ceremony, Maddie makes a wish for true love and wakes up the next as the bride to be. Unfortunately, her groom turns out to be someone else entirely.
The film has been written by Kirsten Hansen, Ron Oliver, Janeen Damian and Michael Damian.
The release date is still unknown. However, Lohan will star in another romantic film this holiday season for Netflix titled, ‘Falling for Christmas’, which releases on November 10, 2022.
