It hasn’t even been a week since The Kissing Booth 2 came out and Netflix not only revealed that a third instalment is on its way, but also gave a sneak peek.
The third part was secretly shot alongside the second and the shooting has already concluded, with a 2021 release set.
While the franchise has not been the most critically acclaimed, it has proved to be one of the most-viewed titles on the platform.
The first film revolved around Elle (Joey King) falling in love with Noah (Jacob Elordi), her best friend’s elder brother, leading to complications.
The sequel saw Noah move to Boston after getting into Harvard University and how the couple dealt with long distance. In the final parts of the film, Elle struggled with choosing a university to attend.
The third part of The Kissing Booth will likely pick up straight after the second film, with the sneak peek addressing Elle’s confusion about college as she declines a call from Harvard.
