Lucas Varela, a young man finds out his father, whom he had last seen ten years ago, passed away from lung cancer, leaving behind an apartment complex in his son’s name.

Getting hit by the responsibility of managing the apartments out of the blue, Lucas intends to sell them. Talking to the tenants of the building, he begins to doubt this decision after learning more about his dad. 

Despite lacking the qualifications, Lucas accepts his new duties and tries to solve the tenants’ issues. Meanwhile, Frank helps him deal with his unresolved anger towards his father, encouraging him to open up.
