Amazon Prime Video has announced the release of ‘The Priest’ on April 14, 2021. The Malayalam movie stars Mammootty, Manju Warrier, and Nikhila Vimal in the lead roles.
Director Jofin T. Chacko’s debut film ‘The Priest’ follows the story of the titular priest who solves mysterious crimes. Mammootty has essayed the role of Father Carmen Benedict, who comes across paranormal activities while investigating a mystery.
‘The Priest’ is co-produced by Anto Joseph, B. Unnikrishnan and V. N. Babu under the banners Anto Joseph Film Company and RD Illuminations. The horror movie is the first collaboration of Mammootty and Warrier.
Released in theatres on March 11, 2021, the movie also stars Baby Monica, Saniya Iyappan and Sivadas Kannur in significant roles.
