Flipkart Video has launched a game show, Kya Bolti Public, on the Flipkart app. The show is live and involves audience interaction.
This virtual game show is unique as it is a combination of video streaming and online gaming. The audience can watch the game and participate at the same time.
It is a poll-based show where the participants are asked five questions. Each question has two options, but the twist is that there is no right answer; the right answer depends on the popular choice.
The participants can play and win cash prizes everyday from 9 am to 9 pm. Manish Paul is the host for this month-long game show.
Kya Bolti Public is an attempt by Flipkart to encourage people to stay at home and practice social distancing. Speaking on this subject, Prakash Sikaria, Vice-President of Growth and Monetisation at Flipkart, said that Flipkart is trying to connect with its consumers through interactive shows like Kya Bolti Public.
He further added:
This is a poll based game that will facilitate participation from across the country. The first show of its kind on our app, it follows a unique user interface that is a result of our consumer-first approach combined with our technology experience.
