‘Junji Ito Maniac’ anime to stream on Netflix from January 19

The horror anime series ‘Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre’, will stream on Netflix from January 19, 2023, the network has announced.

Alongside the announcement, key art from the anthology series was also unveiled:

The series is an adaptation of the manga created by Japanese Horror writer Junji Ito. The tale will be joined by ‘Ice Cream Truck’, ‘Tomb Town’, ‘Library Vision’ and ‘Headless Statue’, four other works of the writer.

This is not the first anime adaptation of Junji’s stories. In 2018, ‘Junji Ito Collection’, animated by Studio Deen, was released and is currently available on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
