Jared Leto starrer Marvel superhero film ‘Morbius’ is now streaming on Netflix, revealed the streamer. The cast also includes Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, and Tyrese Gibson, among others.
The film is the third entry into in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU).
‘Morbius’ chronicles the story of Michael Morbius (Leto), a scientist suffering from a peculiar blood ailment. He tries to cure himself by fusing bat genes with his own.
The experiment does fix him but transforms him into a vampire like creature without any weaknesses of the host bat species.
The film was theatrically released in April 2022 and was not received well. However, the negative critical reception caused it to become popular online (owing to meme culture).
This resulted in Sony re-releasing the film in June 2022 but it still didn’t rake in expected box office numbers.
