Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ to stream on HBO Max

‘Tenet’, sci-fi thriller directed by Christopher Nolan, will stream on HBO Max from May 1. ‘Tenet’ had made its theatrical release in select cities across 70 countries on September 3 last year.

Owned by parent company WarnerMedia, HBO Max retained the rights to stream ‘Tenet’ despite serious clashes with director Nolan.

Nolan had renounced the service last December saying that various great filmmakers “went to bed the night before thinking they were working for the greatest movie studio and woke up to find out they were working for the worst streaming service”.

HBO Max took to Twitter to announce the release:

The Oscar-nominated film grossed over 363 million USD worldwide. It stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Martin Donovan, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh and Dimple Kapadia.
