ALTBalaji has released the teaser for its upcoming action-drama web series ‘Cartel’. It features an ensemble cast, including Rithvik Dhanjani, Tanuj Virwani, Supriya Pathak and Divya Agarwal, among others.
The members of the Angre family, around whom the narrative revolves, were revealed through a poster released by ALTBalaji in the form of graffiti.
Supriya Pathak plays the head of the family, as she sits on her throne-like chair at the centre. Her sons, played by Jitendra Joshi, Rithvik Dhanjani, and Tanuj Virwani stand behind her, while her daughters, played by Girija Oak, Aditi Vasudev, and Pranati Rai Prakash, round up the Angres.
The trailer introduces the various members of the family, who look to be involved in businesses of crime. The series will follow the struggle between crime lords across different areas of Mumbai.
The web series will be released on August 20 on ALTBalaji and MX Player.
