Amalie, her partner Mikael, and their dance crew celebrate getting selected to compete in Paris, but the pressure mounts on them. Amalie faces yet another hurdle when she meets her estranged mother, who offers her an audition she cannot refuse, forcing her to consider a shift in career paths.
She is split between the decision of pursuing contemporary dance while performing with her crew or abandoning them and her partner to follow a different passion.
