The 2017 Tamil mystery thriller, 7 Naatkal is all set to premiere on ZEE5.
The film stars Shakthi Vasudevan, Nikesha Patel, Ganesh Venkatrama, Rajiv Pillai and Prabhu in pivotal roles.
7 Naatkal is a thriller which revolves around the murder of a ballet dancer, Jennifer. As the title suggests, the film takes place over seven days. The lead suspect, Siddharth (Pillai) is the son of a leading businessman Vijay Prabhakar (Prabhu).
He then seeks the help of his adopted son Sai Prasath (Venkatraman), who is an officer of the Cybercrime wing of the police department. Sai Prasath, the investigative officer, is led to Gautham (Vasudevan) who is a Radio Jockey and his next-door neighbour Pooja(Patel). A DVD which contains important evidence is in their possession. This results in a cat and mouse chase.
A classic whodunit tale, the film is a mix of comedy, romance and mystery.
The nephew of veteran Director P.Vasu, VR Gautham marked his directorial debut with the film. The film is written by P. Vimal Kumar.
7 Naatkal will premiere on the streaming platform on 1 May, 2020.
