1. Si no t’hagués conegut (If I Hadn’t Met You)

Eduard has gone through the tragic loss of his wife and children but he blames himself for it. When he’s about to take his own life, he is stopped by an old woman named Dr Everest. She tells him about her creation of a device that allows someone to travel to different universes. Eduard then uses this ability to find a universe where he can be happy with his family once again.
A Catalan series about dealing with grief is mixed with a supernatural twist that lets the characters explore different scenarios, each of them with a different level of excitement and intrigue.
2. Siempre Bruja (Always a Witch)

She can hide in the present under one condition, however, she won’t be able to use magic there though, since it would make Lucien, a powerful but evil wizard, aware of her presence.
‘Always a Witch’ has been praised for its portrayal of a strong black female lead as well the wonderful locations that have been used for filming.
3. Diablero

A fallen priest seeks out a legendary demon hunter or ‘Diablero’ named Elvis Infante for help in saving the world from the end times. Along with Elvis’s sister and a friend who serves as a host, the ragtag foursome set out to fight some demons and save the world.
A fun quirky series with some interesting characters, quippy dialogue and decent special effects, ‘Diablero’ is great for a casual watch for any fans of the supernatural.
4. El Barco (The Boat)

A thrilling series set mostly on the confines of a single ship, ‘The Boat’ has a claustrophobic feel that adds to the intensity of the story.
5. El ministerio del tiempo (The Ministry of Time)

This lead cast is involved in so many exciting capers across different periods and the portrayal of these adventures is done masterfully.
6. 30 Monedas (30 Coins)

A disgraced priest is exiled to a small town and is not able to escape his troubled past when a string of paranormal phenomena begins to take place in the town. Along with the mayor and the local vet, the priest has to get to the bottom of a global conspiracy that involves the very pope himself.
A very strong series held up by the performances of its three leads, ’30 Coins’ is a supernatural series that eschews the image of the catholic church with some very creepy layers.
7. Paraíso (Paradise)

When 3 girls go missing after a party, it falls onto one of the girl’s younger brothers to dig into their disappearance along with the help of his friends. What they uncover is an otherworldly secret that threatens their lives if they persist with their search.
Filled with government conspiracies and supernatural horrors, ‘Paradise’ is a series that has you at the edge of your seat from start to finish.
8. Feria: La luz más oscura (Feria: The Darkest Light)

Two young girls are caught up in a tragedy when their parents turn out to be involved in a cult that organizes a mass suicide. A very dark and mysterious series with some gruesome supernatural elements to it, ‘Feria: The Darkest Light’ has got a very sombre tone throughout.
9. Órbita 9 (Orbiter 9)

Helena finds herself the sole inhabitant of the Orbiter 9 spaceship. When another ship docks with hers, she meets Alex, an engineer who says that he needs to conduct some repairs. They spend time together and develop a bond which leads to Alex revealing that Helena is actually on Earth and part of an experiment to prepare humans for eventual space travel.
A sci-fi thriller that also involves a lot of drama and romance, ‘Orbiter 9’ explores a future where Earth’s resources are depleted and the depths humanity will go to for survival.
10. Haunted: Latin America

Real people talk about their experiences dealing with the supernatural and unexplained paranormal activity as it is being reenacted in chilling detail for this series.
A reality series that can loosely be considered part of the supernatural realm, the dramatic reenactments are certainly eye-catching at the very least.
