Ruby had been contacted about the case, but Ruby told Jonathan Siegel’s attorney that Sugar isn’t available.

Ruby and Sugar had an agreement, according to which Sugar is supposed to take a break after returning. However, Sugar goes against Ruby’s wishes and attends Jonathan Siegel.

Ruby is well aware of Sugar’s ailments and what he loves. She genuinely cares about him, which is why she convinces Sugar to carry a gun by gifting him Glenn Ford’s gun, something that allures Sugar, who doesn’t like carrying guns.

Other than that, she also constantly insists that he see Dr. Vickers, but Sugar just won’t listen.

Ruby’s secret

In the third episode of Sugar, Sugar attends a party organized for spies of the Cosmopolitan Polyglot Society. Ruby talks to all of them in private, one by one.
