Admiral Atticus Noble: Rebel Moon character explained

In Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire, Admiral Atticus Noble is Balisarius’ most brutal commander. Ed Skrein plays Noble.

As the film states, Admiral Noble is quite brutal and dishonest. He doesn’t show mercy, and people who are not part of Motherworld are of no value to him.

When he first lands on Veldt, he puts on a fake persona of a sweet and warm person to convince the father of the village, Sindri, to spare his army some of their rations.

However, after realizing that the farmers haven’t been honest with him, he kills Sindri immediately, along with another farmer, to make an example. He demands his harvest, which is more than the farmers could afford, in 10 weeks.

The farmers think that they can show that they are invaluable to the Motherworld through their work.

Farming is their forte; the people of Motherworld are inept when it comes to farming. However, Kora knows that Noble won’t care if they are invaluable or not.

Noble’s fate

Thanks to Kai betraying Kora, Noble gets his hands on not just Kora but more insurgents who are fighting Motherworld.

Gunnar frees Kora’s group, resulting in a battle which Noble loses. General Titus calls this an important blow to the Motherworld. Criminals and absolute nobodies have pushed the Motherworld back.

Noble, who fell from a height after being hit by Kora, is rescued by the people of the Motherworld.

Noble is tasked to bring Kora alive

Through technology, he talks to Balisarius in another world. Balisarius tasks Noble to end the insurgency to the last man. However, he wants Noble to bring his adopted daughter, Kora, back to him alive.

Balisarius plans to crucify Kora in front of the Senate. In case Noble fails, he will be executed in place of Kora. Following that, Noble is revived by the people of the Motherworld.

In Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, Noble meets his end when he brings his army to Veldt in an attempt to capture Kora.
