Matt is the janitor at the hospital who has a certain connection with Dr. Sleech in The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy.
Matt is very easygoing and fools around with Sleech occasionally until she begins a relationship with Dr. Plowp.
He is also the only member of his family who missed his species’ hibernation because of a beautiful sunrise and often visits them to talk while they sleep in their pods.
Matt picks up the Curse of the Orlosh and transmits it to Sleech, which makes her question her relationship with Plowp.
However, Matt is unperturbed about Plowp’s connection to Sleech and is happy for them.
A kind individual
Following Plowp and Sleech’s breakup, Plowp gorges himself on Boink Bars and sees an inversion of his empath abilities.
Matt agrees to help him find out what the issue is and they spend all day together feeling each other’s emotions and connecting on a deeper level.
When the hospital is taking care of the black hole accident victims, Sleech tells Matt to find the body of the disembodied voice, and he is glad to be given a task that he’s good at.
