A larger-than-life man

To build on their friendship, Luis takes Carol and Donna to the other office building that belonged to a Whole Foods company.

He shows them a tanning salon on one of the floors and they chat about their lives while getting a tan.

Luis mentions that he came out to his parents and dropped out of high school before traveling the world and making countless fleeting connections.

When one of their colleagues, David Seaver, passes away in his seat at work, Carol takes it up on herself to ensure that he gets a proper send-off.

Seeing a dead body up close sends Luis spiraling as he questions his mortality and his emotions.

While Donna celebrates April-Christmas and Carol helps a kid trick-or-treat, Luis exchanges prescription medication for a birthday cake.

He celebrates alone and gets well wishes from his mother on the phone.

Luis is frazzled at work one day because he is unable to find the beetle broach that he wears every day.

He says that it was a gift from his grandmother and that he received many compliments for it.

Donna and Carol help him wade through the lost and found but he ultimately finds it back home.

During Kathleen’s investigation into Carol’s influence on The Distraction, she concludes that Luis has a certain flair that was initially suppressed.

However, after becoming friends with Carol and Donna, Luis grew in confidence and started to behave more like himself.
