Dr. Vlam is an immortal robot who chooses their latest career path as an intern. Maya Rudolph voices the character.
Dr. Vlam is eager to please her superiors, especially Dr. Sleech and Dr. Klak, as she considers them exceptional mentors.
Since she is immortal, she has a treasure trove of experience gained over many lifetimes. However, this new path raises new situations for her to learn from.
When she has to neurally awaken a cryogenically frozen patient, she falls in love with the version of them inside of their brain.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t remember anything once he awakens and Vlam is left alone with that longing.
Vlam is always looking to please everybody she works with and goes the extra mile to ensure it.
A sordid past
When a patient required a very rare shell that was hard to acquire, Vlam met with an associate from her past as a criminal.
They pull off the job but Vlam realizes midway that hurting people is no longer, especially in this new path as a doctor.
She works extra hard after Nurse Tupp is stifled by a teleportation accident on St. Cthonk’s Day too.
Dr. Vlam is so focused on pleasing Sleech that she drains her batteries down working at top speed during the black hole incident.
When Sleech and Klak are taken by the GHU, Vlam goes around trying to get rid of evidence that they worked on the parasite in secret.
