Plot summary:

Kevin Tapia, raised on the vibrant streets of Santiago, Chile, harbored grand aspirations. A passionate skater, he spent his days alongside his closest ally, Panda.

Kevin’s life takes a turn when he encounters Genesis at the skate park, sparking a romance.

Meanwhile, his family grapples with hardship; his father’s imprisonment forces his mother into dealings with local drug dealers.

When the police confiscate the drugs and cash, she finds herself indebted to these dangerous figures.

In the city’s underworld, a gang known as the ‘Butchers’, led by the elderly Mr. Amador, plots a daring heist to plunder millions of pesos from an airport hangar.

The architect of this scheme is Amador’s son, Greyhound, and his son-in-law, Russian.

Their plans are unexpectedly jeopardized when Kevin stumbles upon Greyhound’s notebook, detailing the entire heist, including the hangar’s security code.

Seizing the opportunity, Kevin enlists Panther, his father’s former accomplice, and Mystica, a resourceful thief with an arsenal at her disposal.

As Greyhound launches a search for Kevin, a confrontation ensues, culminating in Panther’s timely arrival and Greyhound’s demise.

The team, now joined by Genesis, successfully executes the heist, while the Butchers are left bewildered by Greyhound’s disappearance.

Complicating matters, Russian, married to Greyhound’s sister, is entangled in a clandestine affair with Greyhound and becomes desperate to find his missing partner.

Meanwhile, the police and the District Attorney scramble to unravel the mystery of the heist.

After dividing some of the loot for expenses, the team agrees to hide the remaining money, intending to retrieve it later.

Genesis, digging up part of the stash, persuades Kevin to flee to Europe with her, betraying Panda’s trust. Feeling abandoned, Panda informs Panther of their departure.

Mystica’s ex-boyfriend, deducing her involvement in the heist from news reports, reenters her life, seeking his share of the loot.

Panda, meanwhile, grows close to Nidia but pushes her away in a fit of emotion, leading to her discovery and surrender of a bag of money to the police.

Russian tracks down Panda, leading him to Panther. Amador dispatches his hitwoman, Vulture, to hunt down the remaining team members.

As the police probe around Panda’s home, his alcoholic father intervenes, providing a cover.

Overwhelmed by years of emotional torment, Panda poisons his father and flees with his portion of the money.

Vulture, locating Mystica’s ex, uses him to track down Mystica.

Panther and Mystica narrowly escape the Butchers’ warehouse and return to the buried treasure, leaving Vulture wounded and Russian injured but alive.

In Rome, Kevin and Genesis indulge in a luxurious lifestyle, naively flaunting it online. This exposure leads to Genesis’s kidnapping, with the kidnappers demanding a ransom. Kevin reluctantly complies.

Their high-profile lifestyle results in their capture and extradition to Chile.

Under immense pressure from the District Attorney and faced with her pregnancy, Genesis incriminates Kevin.

Reunited with his father in prison, Kevin confesses to stealing the Butchers’ plan, redirecting the police investigation towards Russian.

Natalia, Russian’s wife, betrays him upon discovering his affair with her brother.

In a tense prison encounter, Russian murders Kevin’s father, using it as a warning. Genesis informs Kevin of a special permission to attend his child’s birth.

At the hospital, Kevin spots Mystica and seizes the chance to escape, vanishing into hiding.

Ending explained:

A friend in need

Kevin goes to an old scrap yard where he and Panda used to hang out, and he finds his best friend there.

Panda helps him hide and tells him that he’s got the rest of the cash with him. Kevin sneaks to the hospital to meet Genesis and she gives him a picture of his newborn son.

Kevin says that he’s going to borrow some money from Panda so that he and Genesis can escape and live somewhere else as a family.

Panther continues meeting with Kevin’s mother, and Mystica sneaks up on them in search of Kevin and her share of the money.

Kevin’s mother says that she might know where he might be.

A nasty face-off

Amador’s grandson, Pablo, has become friends with Panda. He goes out to meet him and sees Kevin there.

He sends a message to his mother, claiming that he’s been kidnapped by Kevin, and sends them the location.

Panda agrees to give Kevin the money, but Mystica, Panther, and Kevin’s mother show up. Panda runs and hides with Pablo while Mystica goes straight for the cash.

She finds that most of it is fake and goes after Kevin. Before they can figure things out, Amador, Natalia, and their men show up.

A shootout takes place after Panda blows up the bags of fake cash that he rigged. Amador is shot down, and so is Panther.

Pablo runs out and is caught in the crossfire but he survives. Panther tells Kevin to go far away, and he rides off with Mystica.

Back to the streets

Kevin runs away as the police arrive and is forced to live on the streets once more. Panda feels guilty for leading everyone there and turns himself in.

Mystica doesn’t get her money, but she is free in her life to do whatever she pleases. Amador is bound to a wheelchair and Natalia takes over the family business.

Genesis is forced to raise her son by herself and accuses Kevin of deserting her. The police never find where the remaining money from the heist went.
