In Heartstopper season 2, a school trip to Paris, the city of love, makes various couples fall in love. While some characters act on their feelings and make bold decisions, others gain a new perspective regarding romance.

The three episodes that are set in Paris feature popular tourist destinations that are a treat for the eyes. Here are all the places visited by the characters in Heartstopper season 2:

Day 1

On the first day of the trip, the students are taken to Montmartre, a large hill in Paris, where they have the option to shop, learn about the artistic history of the place, and more. While Elle and Tao choose to visit Musée de Montmartre, the others shop and explore the area.

As Elle tells her friends, Musée de Montmartre is an art museum where the famous French Impressionist Renoir, as well as many other artists and writers, once lived and worked. It is here that Elle and Tao admit that they do not want to lose each other and decide to be friends again.

On the other hand, the others visit Sacré-Cœur Basilica, which is a Roman Catholic church as well as a basilica dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Tara and Charlie are seen talking to each other about their respective relationships on the steps of Sacré-Cœur.

Their first day in Paris ends with all the students having dinner with their two teachers at a restaurant called L’Escalie, where Imogen breaks up with Ben.

Day 2

On the second day, the students are taken to the most popular tourist destination in Paris — Eiffel Tower. The students are made to climb the steps to reach the upper levels of the tower from where they get to see a picturesque view of the city.

After the Eiffel Tower, they visit Pont des Arts, a bridge in Paris that crosses the Seine River. The bridge is considered to be a romantic place, as couples attach lovelocks with their names on them to the railing of the bridge and throw the key into the Seine.

Charlie also attaches a lovelock here but not as a romantic gesture. He writes his and Tao’s names on the lovelock to show Tao how much he values their friendship.

The students are also taken to visit the Louvre on the same day. The Louvre is a national art museum that houses some of the most popular works of Western art, including the Mona Lisa.

Here, Elle and Tao kiss and start dating, Charlie talks to Nick about his difficult relationship with food, and Tara confronts Darcy about avoiding issues. The day ends with Charlie and Nick visiting Nick’s father at a cafe.

Day 3

On the last day of the trip, Charlie, Nick, and their group get to see the Arc de Triomphe, a monument in Paris that honors the people who fought for the country in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars.

The group then visits Shakespeare and Company, a famous English-language bookstore that was opened in 1951. The friends are also seen taking pictures in front of Notre-Dame de Paris, a medieval Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Lastly, the group explores the Le Marais, a district that was once an aristocratic district. Today, it is one of the most fashionable areas of Paris that has boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and museums. Charlie and Nick get the confidence to hold hands in public when they see a gay couple in this area.

With this, their tour of Paris comes to an end. They then return to their hotel, and Darcy throws Tara a birthday party. Before returning home, Nick comes out to a lot of people at Tara’s birthday party and tells them that he is dating Charlie.

Furthermore, Darcy gets drunk and confesses her love to Tara, Isaac realizes that he does not like James romantically, and Mr. Farouk sleeps with Mr. Ajayi. All in all, the trip to Paris ends up becoming a memorable one.
