The full trailer for Stranger Things season 4 has been released by Netflix and it certainly promises yet another thrilling adventure in Hawkins, Indiana.
The beloved kids and adults of the sci-fi series are back for spring break and apart from the obvious physical changes they have gone through, there are also emotional changes to comprehend.
Season 4 of Stranger Things is set to be released in two volumes with the first one releasing on 27 May and the second coming out on 1 July on Netflix.
The latest trailer includes multiple glimpses of the upcoming season and it looks like it’s going to be a wild ride. Here are 5 insane reveals from the Stranger Things season 4 trailer:
1. A change in scenery
The kids find themselves in a creepy old mansion while in another scene, Eleven is in a diner with Sam Owens as Owens reveals the troubles that they are about to face which is why he had them all relocated. He says that there is a war coming and Eleven is their only hope.
2. A returning friend/foe
Jim Hopper was confirmed to be alive and in some sort of Russian prison, but this trailer shows him and many other inmates facing the Demogorgon, the creature that terrorized Hawkins back in season 1.
3. A look into the past
A glimpse of Eleven is shown back in the lab where she was experimented on, but here she looks angry and is covered in blood. She seems ready to cause more havoc after being pushed past her breaking point.
4. Surprising talents revealed
Max is shown paying her respects at Billy’s grave earlier on, but later when she’s at the same site with Lucas, Steve and Dustin, she’s shown levitating in the air. Is this an onset of powers from exposure or someone else’s doing?
5. The Big Bad
The trailer begins and ends with a chilling voice that goes with an even more terrifying humanoid creature that claims he will bring the reckoning against our heroes for stifling the influence of the upside-down.
Like most of the main villains of the series, this villain is said to be inspired by ‘Vecna’, one of the most powerful evil characters who ascends to godhood in Dungeons and Dragons.
