Yuuki Kagurazaka is one of Shizu’s students and the current grandmaster of the Freedom Academy in Ingrassia. Natsuki Hanae and Clifford Chapin voice the character.
Rimuru meets Yuuki Kagurazaka when he visits the Freedom Academy in Ingrassia to fulfill one of Shizu’s greatest regrets.
Yuuki is a teenage Otherworlder and used to be one of Shizu’s students. He is not the grandmaster of the academy and is responsible for the young students in Shizu’s care.
To convince Yuuki that he is also from the same world, Rimuru gives Yuuki an update on all the manga that was released while Yuuki was gone.
He also produces several copies of manga as a present for helping Rimurur. However, Yuuki has another side to him that goes under the radar.
Pulling all the strings
After defeating Falmuth’s army, Rimuru gets an update on everything that took place and how they plan to proceed.
He wonders who might have sold him out to Hinata Sakaguchi and suspects Yuuki since he was one of the few people who knew that Rimuru was from Japan.
Yuuki is secretly working with Clayman and the Moderate Harlequin Alliance to take over the world, and to uphold his end of the bargain, he resurrects the Demon Lord Kazalim.
He has been pulling Clayman’s strings from the beginning but his involvement isn’t revealed, although Lord Kazalim’s connection is referenced in Clayman’s final words.
Yuuki takes part of the blame for Clayman’s death because he pushed him too hard and believes that they must lay low so that they are not entirely exposed.
However, he does appear to have a plan to exact some revenge on Rimuru for the time being.
