The Swimmers in Sand Land: The Series explained

The Swimmers, an eccentric family of rebels and anarchic hooligans with hearts are major supporting characters in Sand Land: The Series.

The Swimmers are a group of bandits roaming around the barren wastelands of Sand Land.

They are a family of a father and his sons, and end up playing a great role in defeating the ruthless Supreme Commander Zeu, and freeing the water for the citizens.

To survive, they also work as bounty hunters sometimes, and even as a bunch of lowly bandits, they’re a competent and powerful group, that’s still not quite like the “baddest baddies of all Sand Land,” like their leader tries to claim.

Papa

The leader of the Swimmers, Papa is also the patriarch of the group. He’s an old man but far too sprightly and strong for his age, evident by his commendable musculature.

He wears a blue brief and a red cape, along with a yellow swimming cap, with a bare upper torso to flaunt his muscles.

He’s a jolly old geezer with the most brains out of all in the family. He’s a capable leader but would also run the fastest when chased by Beelzebub.

He was part of the Rebel Army and still harbors resentment and sadness over their loss all those years ago.

Pike

A son and member of the Swimmers, Pike lends his talents in one of the most useful ways. He’s always kept on the lookout.

That’s because he can look very very far away. It is impressive that he can draw a very accurate sketch of Shiva who is driving a tank 85 miles away from Pike.

He also possesses superhuman hearing.

Shark

He’s the fast one. Shark can attain superhuman speeds that even Beelzebub has to put some effort to match when he’s chasing him.

He is a bit slow, like other members of the group/family, but he can measure incredible distances in an incredibly short amount of time.

Guppy

The last member of the Swimmers, Guppy is a behemoth of a person.

He’s large and powerful and carries a colossal handgun that can penetrate the formidable dam even when the tanks of the Royal Army fail to do the job.

He’s mostly asleep and yawning when he’s not, but when it counts, Guppy can turn into a significant force of nature, raising the might of the Swimmers considerably.
